Are you a Christian? |

"... You are not of the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But, if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him!" (Rom. 8:9) "...the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him!" (Acts 5:32) "... no one who is born (Gr: "anagennao"; "begotten" or conceived again) of God Sins!" (1Jn. 5:18) So, ... does this describe you? If not, then you need to pray this simple prayer: "Father God, I know that I am a sinner deserving of death. I thank you for sending your son Yahshvah (sic: "Jesus") who paid the penalty for my disobedience on the Cross of Calvary. Lord Yahshvah, come into my life by the power of the Holy Spirit, and change me into the person you want me to be. Thank you for loving me as much as you do, and for your free gifts of Salvation, Eternal Life, and the Victory over Sin!" If, now, you have sincerely asked Yahshvah to be your Savior, and to come into your life to free and to change you; you can rest in Him with the "blessed assurance" that you are His, and that you have eternal life according to His promise. (John 3:16) It is not necessary to have a "warm, fuzzy" feeling, or any sort of powerful emotional response to have this assurance (Although, this does happen to many.). Rather, you simply must believe that His Word is reliable! " ... And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him." (Heb. 11:6) Yahshvah proclaimed: "I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me." (John 14:6); and: "I am the resurrection and the Life; he who believes in Me shall live, even if he dies!" (John 11:25) Understand that Christ is not a "magic" fix-all to be called upon only in times of trouble. Troubles will come, even discipline from the Lord Himself. He wants to walk through the good and the bad with you (not to carry you!) and yet, it is His will to rescue all who choose to receive Him. We challenge you; even beg you, to accept this and other free gifts from God! If you haven't already prayed the "sinner's prayer" (above), do it now! You'll be more than glad you did! The next step for those who are newly "begotten" in Christ is to press on to greater maturity in Him. Study the Bible daily, and get into loving fellowship with other Christians as soon as possible. Don't make the mistake of thinking: "just Me and "Jesus" against the world" is enough! Yahshvah has said: "... Where two or three have gathered together in My Name, there I AM in their midst." (Mt. 18:20); and: "By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." (John 13:35). Praise His Holy Name! May God richly bless you all!
