"Ganja"

In ancient times, at the beginning of His-story, "Gan-Jah" ("Birth of Yah", in the Indo-European Proto language) took place in Ad land, (Adam's Land; Eden) at the source of the sacred rivers, on the slopes of the Holy Mountain: Eve-rest, in the high Himalaya, where the good Ganja grows to this day.
That Sacred Tree of Knowledge/Life was a "Burning Bush" (see: Ex. 3:2), never consumed by the flames, yet the smoke rose up to heaven from the center of Pangea, the garden of YHVH. Here was the first "pleasing aroma" acceptable unto YHVH! (see: Ge. 8:21; Ex. 29:18; Lev. 3:16; 2 Cor. 2:15; Eph. 5:2; Phil. 4:18) Our God has always taken pleasure in a good smoke!
From the Upanishads: "There is that ancient Tree, whose roots grow upward, and whose branches grow downward, that is indeed called the Bright, that is called the Brahman (Father God), that alone is called the Immortal. Whatever there is, the whole world, when gone forth from the Brahman, trembles in its breath! The Brahman is a great Terror, like a drawn sword. Those who know it become immortal. From Terror of Brahman, fire burns. From Terror, the sun burns. From Terror, Indra (the Storm God) and Vayu (the wind), and Death ... run away!"
The first prohibition, which defined primordial sin and led to the fall of Ish (the man) into Adam (fallen man), concerned the Sacred Tree itself. Then it was that Yahshvah, who is the Tree, first became Brahman the Terror (Or the Cherub, if you will!), and the fiery double-edged sword that drove men from Paradise!
Yet, for 20,000 years and more, Ganja has been the deliberate companion of man, springing forth in our dung heaps and garbage piles, along our roads and trails, on our rooftops and in our homes. Ganja has chosen us, and we have chosen it. Abraham, Jacob and Moses, each in his turn, painfully discovered that the Cherub must be defeated, the burning bush confronted, and the two-edged sword overcome in order to know and partake of the "Tree of Life".
The earliest written history of the Sacred Herb comes from a Chinese Neolithic culture just to the north of the Himalaya. They wrote of cultivating cannabis before 3000 B.C. The enlightened emperor/physician, Shen Nung, and his disciple, Hoa Tho, used the plant in treating "female weakness", gout, rheumatism, malaria, beri-beri, constipation, and even absentmindedness! Mixed with wine, it was used as a surgical anesthetic and analgesic.
In later Chinese history, Cannabis is found listed in mankind's oldest pharmacopiea as an herbal remedy for sores, wounds, burns, ulcers, insect bites and stings, nervous disorders, inflamations, as a laxative and diuretic, and for worming! The oil was used for a stomach treatment, and a hair tonic!
The Ebers papyrus, circa 1600 B.C., finds Egyptian Priest-Physicians using the Herb to treat asthma, glaucoma, epilepsy, nausea, and as a euphoric/antidepressant, as well as a painkiller, sedative, and anti-spasmotic.
"The Lord has brought forth medicines from the earth, and the sensible man will not despise them." (Ecclesiasticus 38:4 - Apocrypha)
From ancient times, the fibres of this blessed plant have been used for the finest rope, twine, and cordage, carpet, sailcloth, sackcloth, cloth and paper. The seeds and sprouts have been used for baking bread, making porridges, soups and gruels, and for the finest bird feed. The oil has been used for lamp oil and lubrication,as well as in paints, varnishes, and similar products. The Chinese even used the ashes in the manufacture of rockets! Until the late 19th century, Cannabis remained, by far, mankind's largest agricultural crop, and the most important industrial raw material in the world! Major wars have been fought to insure its availability.
From ancient China, the Sacred Herb spread through the known world, first through the Middle East. Canaan and Cannabis both derive their names from the Indo-European root for "cane".
In 2000 B.C., Indian Priests cultivated Cannabis in temple gardens, and used it to brew "Bhang" (later: "Soma") the "joy-giver", "sky flyer", and "soother of grief". The later Aryan Priest/Kings ("Rajahs") of northern India administered their "Yajur" (sacrifice) before the ever-burning fires of their temples. The Yajur rituals required the Brahmin Priest/Kings to partake of the "Vajpeya" (the "drink of strength"), in order to sustain cosmic order through becoming one with "Vach" (the Word), and "Vayu" (the wind), and thereby making the Mystery: "I Am" plain. (see: Ex. 3:14) The province of Bengal, and the city of Bangladesh derive their names from the Bhang of the Rajahs!
Most of the world's great religions, including Shintoism; Hinduism; Bhuddism; Zoroastrianism; Essene Judaism; Sufi Mohammadism; Coptic Christianity; and African Voodooism, at one time recognized, and accepted YHVH's Holy "Plant of Renown" (Ez. 34:29), as a ritual sacrament on the path to enlightenment.
The first non-religious use of Cannabis as an intoxicant was by the Scythians of Siberia in 1500 B.C. The hand reaper they used in harvesting wheat and Cannabis still bears their name, and remains in use to this day.
In the famous "1001 Arabian Nights" stories, the "flying carpet" is traditionally understood to be a veiled reference to hashish, and a part of its "magic". In the middle of the 9th century B.C., a "Holy Man" arrived in northern India on his "flying carpet" from the Middle East. K'ali, not the black goddess Kali: "the destroyer", came to visit, - and later lead the Israeli and Aryan (also "sons of Abraham") settlements of northern India, and their temples, and to administer the Yajur rituals. K'ali, the "Hashish Eater", is understood to be the great prophet Elijah, after his "translation"!
In 845 B.C., seven years after his departure from Israel in a "Whirlwind" (2Kings 2:11), Elijah wrote a letter (from India) to king Jehoram of Israel, deriding and cursing him and his family (with diarrhea!) because of his sins. Jehoram later died of this curse. (2 Chron. 21:12-15) K'ali never returned to Israel.
The use and misuse of the Holy Plant spread and continued through the centuries. A muslim monk wrote in 500A.D.: "Almighty God has bestowed upon you by special favor the virtues of this plant, which will dissipate the shadows that cloud your souls, and brighten your spirits." Paul, the "Apostle to the Gentiles", made a pointed prophecy of the modern prohibitions in his first letter to Timothy: "In later times, some shall ... speak lies in hypocrisy ... commanding abstinence from that which God has created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe, and know the truth." (1Tim. 1:4)
Many readers will recall the origin of the word: "assassin", from the fanatical medieval religious sect, the Ismaili "Hashashin", whose devotion to their Priest/King, Hasan-i Sabbah, the "Old Man of the Mountain", was absolute; to the point of commiting ritual murders in return for initiation into the sacred rites. This episode marked the most evil misuse of the Sacred Herb in history. Hasan-i Sabbah died in 1124, and the Hashashin faded quickly thereafter, while their notorious name survives.
In 1839, Sir William O'Shaughnessy Brooke wrote in a Calcutta medical journal reporting the successful use of Cannabis in the treatment of rabies, rheumatism, epilepsy, and tetanus. He found it to be an effective analgesic, anti-convulsant and sedative, as well as a good muscle relaxant. As an anti-convulsant, he considered it to be a " ... remedy of the greatest value." Modern medical science has confirmed that Cannabis as medicine is effective in treatment of asthma, glaucoma, tumor reduction, nausea relief, epilepsy, muscle spasms, arthritis, stress, migraine, emphysema, depression, as a broncho-dilator, appetite stimulator, and as an antibiotic/antibacterial agent in preperations made from its leaves and flowers. In 1990, scientists for the National Institute for Drug Abuse confirmed (to their surprise) that the human brain has neuronal receptors for THC (the active ingredient in Cannabis), which no other compounds will bind to! The human body does not produce anything like THC to bind to these receptors. This finding confirms the ancient symbiotic relationship between man and the "plant of renown".
The modern name of the Sacred Herb: "Marijuana", comes to us by way of Spain and Mexico. Miriam (Mary), the "rebellious maiden", who has become the "Mother of God" for millions, and Jah'n (John) the "Gracious Gift of Jah", combine to bring forth Gan Jah once again in the "Great Nation", the 13th "half-tribe", Mannaseh (out of Joseph) Chief of the nations in these last days; a "Lost Tribe", unaware of its true origins. (Ge. 48:12-20)
Some readers are aware that many of the founding fathers of our great nation; the "New World" "Promised Land"; Spiritual and Tribal heir to the blessings of Israel; were growers and users of the Sacred Herb. These men were, not coincidentally, Freemasons and initiates of the ancient "Mysteries". Their ranks included George Washington, Thomas Jefferson; and Benjamin Franklin. Unfortunately, their "secret society" rituals and symbology also contained elements of Pagan Idolatry, which now have become a part of the American heritage. The first Cannabis laws in the U.S. were mandatory cultivation laws in the early colonies. Hemp was legal tender in the U.S. until the early 1800's. Even taxes could be paid with hemp!
For the past 60+ years (as prophesied) lost America has attempted in vain to prohibit access to the "Burning Bush", which is the key to the "Tree of Knowledge". This persecution began in the thirties as a racial attack against blacks and latinos, and their so-called "Satanic" music. It continued in the form of an economic conspiracy, designed to protect the business interests of the Hearsts and DuPonts, et al; the same people who are raping the forests (for paper and fuel), and polluting our planet with chemicals and oil, and lying to the world about the wonders of the most valuable resource created by God for the use of mankind.
Our doomed "War on Drugs" has accomplished very little but make martyrs and "Criminals" of the gentle seekers it considers the "enemy"; and to help create a violent cadre of "suppliers", who capitalize on a fundamental need of the children of YHVH. These greedy folk are protecting their "business interests" with more and more terrible weapons of destruction. Our misguided leaders, who have already hopelessly indebted our grandchildren, have allowed their inheritance: the world that "God so loved ... ", to become irreversibly polluted! They are now bankrupting America in an effort to "Stamp Out" (with the old "jackboot" approach) an activity that, since ancient times, has served as an assist upon the sublime pathway to knowledge of God, our Teacher, and our Healer! They have also rejected the lessons of history (prohibition), and the not-so-secret legacy of Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe and Franklin, et al, men who claimed the freedom to "pursue happiness" as a God-given right; and all this in favor of a modern "witch hunt", designed to mask their own crimes!
Abraham Lincoln, whose wife, Mary Todd Lincoln, was a Hashish user, said this:
"Prohibition ... goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime of things that are not crimes! A prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded." (1840)
In the end, however, Gan Jah, Vach, and Vayu will prevail, and the fate of the "leaders" of this insane "war" will be terrible indeed. One day they will be confronted by the Brahman and his fiery sword. Then will occur a final "holocaust", and the wicked will become " ... ashes beneath our feet." (Mal. 4:3), and Yahshvah will not enjoy the aroma of a smoke which will "go up forever" (Rev. 11:18), as those who "destroy the earth" are themselves destroyed.
This same Yahshvah, our King and High Priest, the "Anointed One" of God, was anointed with a "most holy oil", prepared according to the very explicit instructions of God (Ex. 30:22-31). The precious oil contained, along with olive oil, myrrh, cinnamon and cassia oils, a goodly amount of "Kanah Bosem", the "fragrant cane" oil. The tranlators of the Septuagint knew what they were saying when they rendered "Kanah Bosem" into Greek as: "Cannabis" This Holy Oil was also used to anoint and sanctify the Tabernacle; the Ark of the Covenant; the Lampstand; the Table of Showbread; the Altar of Incense; the Laver; the Altar of Sacrifice; and the Temples at Jerusalem; as well as all the Aaronic Priests, and the kings who came before Christ: our Melchizedekian High Priest, and King of Kings. It was the Kanah Bosem oil in the Chrism (the Most Holy Anointing Oil), as well as the Word of God, which made the anointing oil Holy!
Pray that you may also receive this anointing, through the grace of Yahshvah, and that you may come to understand the true holiness of Ganja, the Sacred Tree, and all it represents. We pray in the Name of Yahshvah that every one of you will escape the wrath of the Brahman's fiery sword!
