The Golden Gate

The Eastern Gate in Jerusalem was blocked off in fulfillment of prophecy by the Turkish Governor of Jerusalem in 1530 (Ex. 44:1-3).  The Governor hoped that by doing this, he could forestall an earlier Muslim prophecy that a great conqueror would enter Jerusalem through this gate.  The Moslems also thought to forestall the coming of the Jewish Messiah by making the pathway to the Golden Gate into a graveyard!  These graves, however, will be empty when Yahshvah returns.  He is the "great conqueror" foretold in Moslem prophecy!  Yahshvah the King will enter Jerusalem triumphantly through this gate at His second coming.
